Frank, an abandoned street dog, had his leg amputated just two days before Tara welcomed this charming three-legged gentleman into her home.
Bella, confined to a cage her entire life, was 10 years old and had both eyes removed just days before Tara adopted her. She was yet another victim of a puppy mill, cast aside when she could no longer breed.
Roscoe, at 11 years old and facing euthanasia, found a new lease on life when Tara decided to adopt the sweet senior dog.
Tara dedicates her time to volunteering, fundraising, and raising awareness for Adopt a Boxer Rescue. Adopt A Boxer Rescue is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) charity committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming unwanted and abandoned Boxer dogs.
Tara is dedicated to creating a safe, affectionate, and nurturing environment for neglected, elderly, and special-needs dogs. These are the dogs facing euthanasia, the ones that are often overlooked..."The Misfits."
Many of Tara's dogs have suffered from abuse and neglect. She offers them a loving home, a final sanctuary before they cross the Rainbow Bridge.
